Here are just some of the warrior cat books written by Erin  Hunter. You will find them in your local library.

Warrior cats are one of the most popular book series in the world. They are exciting and imaginative books. They are thrilling to read, and are hard to put down. I would recommend for kids over the age of 8 as there is bloodshed.

This picture on the left is of the six clans symbols. From left to right: Shadowclan, Riverclan, Thunderclan, Windclan, Skyclan, and Starclan.







Warrior cats are cats that live together in clans. They hunt fight and defend their clan. They are close rivals with the other clans.


So when you are first born in the clan, you are named something "kit". When you reach the age of six moons old, you receive an apprentice name. So if your name was "Feather"kit then you would become "Feather"paw". Then when your mentor thinks you are ready to become a warrior, there is another ceremony, a bit like an apprentice ceremony. But instead you are given a warrior name. So if your name was "Feather"paw then the leader would choose a name starting with Feather. Say Featherstripe, heart, claw... whatever. And then as a warrior you serve your clan with loyalty, fighting for your clan,  and one day, just maybe, you may be chosen as deputy and then become leader. If you became leader then your name would be say "Feather"star".  If you don't make it to there, then once you are very old, you will become an elder, and peacefully spend the rest of your days in the elders den, until you pass away.
