How to make a windowsill garden: (Very easy)
You will need:
*Flowerpots and plates for the flowerpots to go on (Or ice cream containers for the flowerpots to go in)
*Seeds
*A window that gets plenty of sun
1. Find some flowerpots and plates. Fill flowerpots with dirt. Moisten the dirt. Place flowerpots on plates or in ice cream containers on windowsill. (Because dirt or water might spill out the bottom of your flowerpot) You can add things to your windowsill that look gardeny. Such as fake flowers, garden pictures... Whatever you like- BE CREATIVE!
2. Carefully plant the seeds. Don't plant things such as pumpkins turnips, courgettes, ect... Only plant plants that are small enough to fit in your flowerpot.
3. Water every day (But don't flood the plants!) and make sure that the plants get plenty of sun (Don't put your plants in a place where there is no sun.)
4. Hopefully you will soon have some small green shoots peeking through the soil. Once the plants have grown, they will look really cool on your windowsill!
Below are photos of my windowsill garden:
I planted Silverbeet in the black pot, and in the other pot I planted wildflowers. A few silverbeet have come up now. Though I still can't see any little wildflowers. As you can see I have put gardeny things around my windowsill garden. Such as a small spade, fake flowers, garden pictures... just whatever I could find that made it look like a window sill garden!
